The carrying capacity of a cow mattress has to be sufficient in order to prevent sore hocks due to pressure of the cows own weight on the protruding part of the joint. This will cause hair loss on the cows hocks and eventually sore spots, inflammation and swelling.

The advantage of the brisket locator is to prevent her from crawling forward, which helps keep the stall clean and positions her correctly when she rises to leave the stall.

For the ultimate cowcomfort the Dual Waterbed should be combined with the B.U.C. Positioning Box. The B.U.C. Positioning Box forces the cow into such a position that it lies in a comfortable way on the waterbed.

Brisket line

The Brisket line comes together with the Positioning Box and serves also as a mounting tube. 

The sturdy baseplate is installed as far as possible to the back. This deminishes the leverage effect of the separation bracket. The overall construction will benefit from that. By using the exact dimensions an optimum comcomfort can be obtained.

Despite the spacious construction, in which the cow can move and rest comfortable, the nose line directs the cow into the right position.

The B.U.C. Folding bracket

After milking the cows, it is important that the teat-ends get the opportunity to recover. Therefore it is important that the cow will stand and walk after the milking. The B.U.C. folding-bracket prevents cows to lie down in the box to soon, they will walk around and eat the cattle-fodder.
